Cosmic Collector is a charming exploration game where you play as a robot collecting organic samples on an alien planet. There are a variety of fun creatures to interact with, and each one has a small quest to give you. I was the sole software engineer on this team of five developers.
The game makes heavy use of dialogue, which I implemented using the Scribble library. It was also my first time incorporating voice acting in a game, albeit with the voices being made from randomly spliced sound effects. It was interesting to create a system that would play speech audio depending on the length of the dialogue being read.
